NaDONA (sodium dodecafluoro-3H-4,8-dioxanonanoate) is an ether-based PFAS used in fluoropolymer manufacturing, related to ADONA. Like other next-generation PFAS replacements, NaDONA was developed to avoid the regulatory restrictions placed on PFOA.
